Qatar Foundation for Social Work and its leaders celebrate the National Day of the State.

·         Ahmed Mohamed Al-Kuwari: The celebration of the National Day is an occasion in which we renew the covenant of loyalty and love for the wise leadership.

·         Sheikha Najla Bint Ahmed Al Thani: We were pleased at the Dreama Center to welcome the World Cup fans who came from different parts of the world to their second country, Qatar.

·         Rashid Mohammed Al Nuaimi: Through our participation in the activities of the National Day with the Foundation, We seek to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance the ability of young people to establish an ideal society and sound social relations.

·         Nouf Ibrahim Al-Abdullah: The National Day of the State of Qatar is an occasion that reflects the cohesion between the loyal Qatari people and their wise leadership.

·         Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani: This year's National Day celebration is unique, as it coincides with our beloved country Qatar's hosting of the 2022 World Cup

·         Fahd Muhammad Al-Khayarin: The celebration of the National Day for this year comes under the slogan (Our unity is the source of our strength), which always promotes the need for unity among all segments of society.

Social Work - Doha

In the midst of a large audience, the Qatar Foundation for Social Work and its affiliated centers, which operate under the oversight and supervision of the Ministry of Social Development and Family, celebrated the National Day of the State, and in the presence of the Foundation's leaders and executive directors of the Foundation's centers at the Foundation's theater in the cultural district of Katara. On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Kuwari, the CEO of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, declared: Celebrating the National Day is an occasion in which we renew the covenant of loyalty and love for the wise leadership that is ably led by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani - the Emir of the State, and it is an invitation to gather around our leadership to participate in building a modern, successful and developed country. Celebration of the National Day embodies the state of love and giving that the people have towards the country and towards the wise leadership, especially as it carries a memory dear to every Qatari man and woman, because it always reminds us of the founder, the late Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, who laid the foundations for building the State of Qatar. This national occasion dear to our hearts requires us to work on everything that leads to the advancement and development of our State in order to build a Qatari family that is dominated by harmony, love, cooperation and compassion. The efforts of our wise leadership, anticipating the future, continued year after year until the Qatari family reached advanced levels in the health and educational aspects of its members including children, youth, the elderly, women and people with disabilities.

The Foundation organized a national celebration, which included a speech by Mrs. Lala Abu Alfain, Executive Director of the Shafallah Center, on behalf of the CEO of the Foundation, Mr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Kuwari, during which she presented the highest greetings and blessings to the government and people of Qatar. She said that the participation of all the Foundation's centers in the activities of the National Day and activities targeting all age groups, is in implementation of the State's directives and in fulfillment of the national vision, and that the National Day enshrines in the hearts of all Qataris the love of the homeland, loyalty and belonging thereto, and is an important occasion to confirm their solidarity, harmony and rallying around their leadership and their glorification of the founder who devoted his effort and thought to establishing a modern State with the capabilities available at that time. Now, we reap the fruits of good planting bring prosperity, security and stability. During the ceremony, the partners and supporters of the National Day activities organized by the Foundation in Katara were honored, where the Cultural District, Katara, the National Service Academy - Moqdam, Qatar Islamic Insurance Company “Bima" and Qatar Navigation Company “Milaha" were honored for their unlimited support and for their constant cooperation.

  In her capacity as the Executive Director of the Shafallah Center, Ms. La'a Abu Alfain said in my name and the name of the employees and members of the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities... I extend my sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, on the occasion of the National Day of the State, which falls on December 18 of each year. This glorious occasion, which is dear to our hearts, in which we celebrate the assumption of power in the State by the late Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad Al Thani, founder of the modern state of Qatar in 1878. We affirm our pride in our National Day... and we draw from it an incentive and motivation to achieve the goals and hopes of the state, to complete the process of construction, development and prosperity, and to add glories to the glories of the first men.

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center, AMAN, spoke on the occasion of the National Day, saying: As citizens and residents, we rejoice today and every day for glory and goodness, and we are all confident in the words of the leader of our march and our Emir, may God protect him, “our unity is the source of our strength, so the celebration of the National Day in this year is a translation of the message of His Highness, the Emir of the State, which he sent through his speech, our unity has always been the source of our strength over the years, and the secret of the achievements, renaissance and comprehensive development achieved by the State of Qatar in various social, health, security and economic sectors was a result of our unity. The slogan of celebrating the National Day has deep connotations that flow into Qatar's vision and strategic goals. Today is an opportunity to renew loyalty and love for the wise leadership, rally around it, walk with and behind it to face any challenges and realize achievements, and go towards development according to a holistic view entitled sincerity and hard work to advance the country so that it remains dear and lofty. We, at the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, are participating in the celebration of the National Day in which the manifestations of joy pervade everywhere and in every Qatari home, through various activities and events, as we believe in the importance of this day, in which everyone affirms that it is a day to confirm loyalty and belonging to the homeland, to consecrate identity and renew allegiance to the wise leadership, a day in which we respond to loyalty to the people of loyalty and giving. This can only be achieved through work, so let us build the Qatar of the future and ask God for safety and security for our State.

Sheikha Naglaa bint Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of the Dreama Center for Orphan Care, expressed her happiness at the success of the activities of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work in Katara, which coincided from November 18 to December 18, and said: We congratulate everyone on the National Day of the State, and we wish on this day more progress, advancement and prosperity of our State under its wise government and from its development to a greater development. She stated: At the "Dreama" Center, We were pleased to welcome the World Cup fans who came from different parts of the world, to their second country, Qatar, to participate in this historic event that will be written in letters of light for future generations, especially since it is held for the first time in an Arab country. There is no doubt that the 2022 World Cup was considered a good opportunity to get to know the State of Qatar closely, learn about its cultures, customs and traditions, and discover its tourist attractions. He added, From the first moment of choosing the State of Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup, the State of Qatar was keen to prepare infrastructure according to the highest quality standards and has worked to provide all the capabilities and services that facilitate the entry and residence of the masses amid a popular and official welcome, and in their turn, the sons of Dreama stand supporting and supportive "You are welcome".

The Executive Director of the Behavioral Health Support Center, Mr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, welcomed the guests of Qatar who are present to attend the FIFA 2022 World Cup, an unprecedented edition throughout the history of the State of Qatar. He said: We express our pride and pleasure because it is the first time that the largest football tournament in the world is held on Arab land, which is an opportunity to introduce guests to the authentic Qatari culture and identity and the customs of the people of Qatar. He added, in the Behavioral Health Support Center, the sport has an important role in promoting healthy, physical and mental life, as well as psychological and social well-being, especially football, due to its global popularity. He expressed his happiness at the participation of Daam Center with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work and its centers in the cultural district of Katara, which serves as the guardian of the heritage and traditions of the State of Qatar and blends the beauty of the past with the radiance of the future. He said, through our participation in the activities of the National Day with the Foundation, we seek to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance the ability of young people to establish an ideal society and proper social relations. He added that on this occasion and in this celebration, we are pleased to congratulate the government and people of the State of Qatar on the glorious National Day, and to extend our highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Emir and to all the Qatari people and residents of this good land.

Ms. Nouf Ibrahim Al-Abdullah, Acting Executive Director of the Nama Center for Social Development, stated that the National Day of the State of Qatar is an occasion that reflects the cohesion between the loyal Qatari people and their wise leadership, and it is an occasion in which we all celebrate the achievements that Qatar is witnessing on all scientific, cultural, social, economic and sports levels, especially since the National Day in this year coincides with the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup, through which Qatar dazzled the world with what it has achieved under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, in terms of progress and a comprehensive renaissance. This precious occasion for all of us motivates us, armed with the achievements of the past and the ambition of the future, to make every effort, each in his position, to serve Qatar and raise its name among nations. We wish our beloved country Qatar continued success, progress and prosperity.

Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani, Acting Executive Director of the Family Consulting Center (WIFAQ), stated that this year's National Day celebration is unique, as it coincides with our beloved country Qatar's hosting of the 2022 World Cup, and based on the slogan of this year's National Day, "Our unity is the source of our strength." We find ourselves facing a great responsibility, as we will all be ambassadors of Qatar with our morals, values, culture, and adherence to our customs, traditions, and authentic legacies. Sheikha Sheikha considered that this year's National Day is an exceptional opportunity to enhance the values of loyalty, interdependence and pride in the national identity, by conveying an honorable image to visitors of Qatar during the period of hosting the World Cup, and highlighting the history and culture of Qatar and its keenness to communicate and interact with different cultures while taking pride in Arabic and Islamic values. Sheikha Sheikha Al Thani added that the "Wifaq" center celebrated with the rest of the centers in the celebration of the National Day, which the Foundation used to organize every year, by presenting a set of distinguished activities aimed at the entertainment and educational fields, all of which reflect the mission and values of the Foundation, and the services provided by all centers for the target groups. Through our participation, we will seek to invest in the coincidence of the National Day celebration with the international sporting event in the State for optimal interaction with all families and individuals, citizens, residents and visitors, and to present an honorable image befitting the social work institutions in the State.

On this occasion, Mr. Fahd Muhammad Al-Khayarin, Executive Director of the Elderly Empowerment and Care Center, Ehsan, said, “On the occasion of the National Day, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and to His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Emir, and to the honorable Qatari people, asking God Almighty to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety and stability. He explained that the celebration in this year comes under the slogan (Our unity is the source of our strength), which is one of the sayings of His Highness the Emir, who always reinforces the need for the unity of society in all its sects and groups and in order to enhance the role of the elderly and their contributions to social, economic and cultural development, the center always seeks to empower them and support their active participation in all aspects and spread the societal awareness of their rights and basic issues, which is embodied through the involvement of the elderly in the events organized by the State, especially the activities of the National Day, which come in this year in conjunction with the establishment of the World Cup Qatar 2022, which we consider an exceptional event in which it is important for all societal groups to participate, especially the category of elderly people who feel proud and happy that Qatar has organized this great global event.
